An Amazing Collection of Over 550 Coffee Lids and an Exploration of the Challenges Designers Faced When Making Them
NYU Gallatin professor Louise Harpman and her business partner Scott Specht of Specht Architects have worked together to compile one of the world’s largest collection of disposable plastic coffee lids. In the informative video from New York University, Harpman talks about a few of her favorite coffee lids from over 550 that she and Specht scavenged over the years. Louise and Scott go into even more detail with their in-depth analysis for CABINET where they explore some of the challenges coffee lid designers run into and how they overcome them.
