A Short History of Unusual Duels is a four-part series of animated shorts by Atlas Obscura that examines some of history’s strangest duels. Among the duels recounted: a topless duel between a countess and princess in the late 19th century, and a duel between rival billiard players in which the chosen weapon was billiard balls.
