A Look at How Scottish Independence Would Affect the United Kingdom

French newspaper Le Monde created a video that examines how the September 18th, 2014 vote on Scottish independence might impact the United Kingdom. The list includes the removal of the blue segment of the iconic Union Jack, a drop in land area to around a third the size of France, and a large loss in population and Gross Domestic Product.
