Melted Gummy Bear Light Boxes That Resemble Colored Glass
Spanish architects Marta Alonso Yebra and Imanol Calderón Elósegui of the MAYICE design studio produce colorful light boxes that resemble colored glass but actually consist of melted gummy bears. To create the light boxes the architects first separate the (Haribo brand) gummy bears by color. The bears are melted to create gelatinous paint, which is then used to make vibrant (and pleasantly scented) compositions. When the compositions cool, they return to a solid state.
