“Latin Revenge” An Animated Music Video Set in San Francisco’s Mission District

In the new “Latin Revenge” music video off of his album Air Cartoons, we can catch Oakland based MC Azeem as he ascends the New Mission Cinema marque, angrily wielding microphones as helicopters hover around him. The animated video was created by shooting thousands of photos in San Francisco’s Mission District and animating them in After Effects. Local characters, street cops, and former chief of police Heather Fong make appearances, but Frank Chu is sadly absent. I’d love to see a version made that ties in a google map location with every taqueria and music store as they appear.
