17-20-23, A Lip-Sync Video Six Years in the Making

Boston-based Alex Dainis recorded herself lip-syncing the song Aaron’s Party by Aaron Carter at age 17, 20, and 23, creating a lip-sync video six years in the making. Check out the resulting video, 17-20-23, that shows her at all three ages lip-syncing her heart out.

One take, once every three years. Sure there’s a story behind it, but mostly I just hope I’ll still be this ridiculous at 26, 29, 32…you get the idea. I think it’s simultaneously the best and worst idea I’ve ever had.

My video quality has definitely improved. I’m not sure my dance moves have.
