Here is found unused footage of William S. Burroughs on the set of the 1997 U2 music video for “Last Night on Earth” where Uncle Bill defends his shopping cart of belongings with his sword cane! It was shot just a few weeks before Burroughs’ death.

Reading Naked Lunch in college was an intense experience. I don’t remember much of it, but it def changed me. Though probably not as much as the 7 years of heroin addiction it took him to write it.
