This Is Burning Man

“This Is Burning Man” an new hardback book that chronicles the people, experiences and history of Burning Man, the week-long art event and ephemeral city that takes place Nevada’s Black Rock desert each labor day. It was written by our good friend Brian Doherty, who is based out of Los Angeles and is a senior editor at Reason Magazine. It is by far the most extensive historical account of Burning Man in print and is a must read for anyone interested in the origins of Burning Man, the people involved and how the event is organized, operates, survives and grows.

Copies of the book can be purchased online through Brian’s website: thisisburningman.com and for the latest news on the book, future book signings and media coverage, check out Brian’s Blog.
