They Might Be Giants did an early morning performance at TED 2007 (see previously). This mini-show marked the debut of Phone Calls From The Dead.

Yes! “Fingertips!” Way back when this was released I was working at a bakery/cafe and the joke was to walk into your shift (at 5:30 in the morning) reciting a line from Fingertips.

“What’s that blue thing doing over there?”
