The Longest Daycare is an oscar-nominated 3D animated short film directed by David Silverman that stars Maggie Simpson from the FOX animated television series The Simpsons. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 85th Academy Awards, hosted by Seth MacFarlane on February 24, 2013.
Maggie returns to the Ayn Rand School for Tots, where she endures tests and ends up in a “Nothing Special” room. Maggie’s arch-nemesis, Gerald Samson is there, who tries to smash a cocoon that Maggie is trying to save.
