SXSW Interactive 2008

SXSW Interactive 2008 has just launched their Panel Picker where you can vote for the panels you want to see at the event next year. Check out the FAQ for more info.

This web application empowers the web community to vote on which panel ideas they think are most appropriate for next spring’s event. We are very excited about the new interface which allows users to rate as many ideas as they want, as well as to comment on submissions they find particularly exciting. Account creation for the Panel Picker is quick and easy – but we encourage you to read the FAQ before you start. Special thanks to Lindsey Simon for all his hard work in developing this application.

Speaking of SXSW Interactive 2008, registration for the event is now open.

Be sure to look for the Screenburn offerings as well. They aren’t separated out so well, but plug in the word “game” as a keyword in the Panel Picker.

Last year, Will Wright, Richard Garriott, Raph Koster, and Warren Spector were all speakers at Screenburn.
