Valentine’s Day is this Saturday, February 14th and that means it’s time for San Francisco Pillow Fight Club 2009. Meet at Justin Herman Plaza and commence pillow fighting when the Ferry Building clock strikes 6pm.

1) Tell everyone you know about PILLOW FIGHT!!!
2) Wait for the Ferry Building clock to strike 6:00pm
3) Don’t hit anyone with out a pillow (unless they want it)
4) Don’t hit anyone with a camera
5) HAVE FUN!!!

Here are my photos from Pillow Fight 2008, 2007 & 2006.

UPDATE: Here are photos and video of San Francisco Pillow Fight 2009.

What memories. I remember seeing your coverage of this last year when I still lived in Florida and thinking, “man SF is so awesome!” I’ll happily be participating this year in the pillowfight.

The United Nations Commission on Costumes & Holidays has issued a strongly-worded resolution vigorously urging pillow militants to lay down their pillows.

Respect the 2005 Reykjavik Accords. Help the United Nations reach its goal of ending pillow conflict by 2015.

Quite an interesting event and a great tradition for San Francisco. :) Here’s some photographs from the actual event.

Alas, the UN’s efforts were not enough to stop the pillow-on-pillow violence. We reported on the UN’s attempts and the resulting feathery carnage directly from the battlefield: San Francisco Pillow Fight 2009 and the UN

As a pillow fight participant, it was hard to capture the memories on film. If anyone who took photos doesnt mind sharing them, would you please post the url to your sites! Thanks so much.
