Puppies Are Not Toys, Campaign Urges People to Avoid Pet Store Dogs

Animal cruelty prevention organization ASPCA has created Puppies Are Not Toys, a holiday campaign that educates consumers about why they shouldn’t buy a puppy from a pet store. It links pet stores with puppy mills, “large scale breeding operations where dogs live in horrible conditions and never receive love.” Here is the campaign’s video. You can also take a pledge to not buy anything from one of these pet stores.
