Last night Violet Blue had some friends over to her Blogger Bungalow to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2008. For the party she setup a Blogger Bungalow WordPress blog for some live blogging. The drinks were flowing, including at least three varieties of Absinthe and at midnight we went out front and shot off a bunch of fireworks.

Here are some photos that I shot at the party, plus more photos from Lori Dorn, Violet Blue and Kmeelyon.

4 total absinthes – Lucid (one of the first legal imports), St. George’s (yummiest, local and legal), Doub’s Mystique and White Fairy.

Please comment on the absinthe’s. Were they good, did anyone who tried them see the green faerie? What were the effects of the absinthe, for those who had it?

Been drinking with the fairy for years and absinthe is nothing more and nothing less and than a fantastic herbal liquor. Beware all ye who enter here, as it is usually high in alcohol, therefore packing quite a punch. Please do not trust the Green Faerie to drive you home. Perhaps a more lucid “drunk” than most, but your best sticking with other substances if you are looking for “psychoactivity.”

Man, looked like a good time, however Dave is allergic to Violet’s furry roommate and would have ended up sweaty and gasing on the sidewalk (actually, he might have ended up that way even if he *weren’t* allergic to Alex. Ah well. Happy new year!
