Gulf Breeze UFO

Gulf Breeze UFO?

My Mom shot these photos of a mysterious billboard that asks “When? Gulf Breeze UFO?” located at the entrance to Navarre Beach in Florida, across from the intersection of Hwy 98 and Hwy 87 in front of the Navarre Beach Bridge.

Navarre Beach is not far from Gulf Breeze, which is the location of a famous series of UFO sightings in 1987, documented by Ed Walters and studied by MUFON (Mutual UFO Network).

Does anyone know who’s behind these billboards? Is it to promote tourism or scare people away?

Navarre Beach is gorgeous, please don’t tell anyone or they will all go there and ruin it. It’s probably a reference to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_Breeze_UFO_incident

Which is probably related to nearby Eglin AFB.

Not sure. When I was in Chicago recently for WordCamp, I saw signs on light poles and even in bus stops where there was some advertisement to D-9.com where it was some trailer for a movie that would be released in August. In fact, after the trailer, it has some elaborate stuff about it like maps and other things. It is very bizarre.
