A giant, thoroughly lifelike sculpture of a hedgehog was recently installed in London’s Clapham Common to mark the launch of the new David Attenborough TV series Natural Curiosities. Created by a team of artists in a two-month build process, the seven-foot-tall sculpture features 2,000 wooden spines and fur made of willow and coconut fibers.
