Where was this originally performed? I remember seeing it live but can't remember where or what it was.

The clip on YouTube was filmed at the main square in Helsinki, Finland.

Ahh, a commenter at LS got it: "Actually, this clip is from the 1994 MTV music awards (at Radio City Music Hall). And yes, that is the 'real' Red Army choir."

and now I'm going to go cry because I remember seeing that live on TV as it was broadcast and it seems like yesterday but it was 14 years ago!
