Leningrad Cowboys & Red Army Choir Cover Sweet Home Alabama

Here’s the Finnish rock band Leningrad Cowboys joined by the Red Army Choir doing a cover of the southern fried rock classic “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

    The clip on YouTube was filmed at the main square in Helsinki, Finland.

    Ahh, a commenter at LS got it: "Actually, this clip is from the 1994 MTV music awards (at Radio City Music Hall). And yes, that is the 'real' Red Army choir."

    and now I'm going to go cry because I remember seeing that live on TV as it was broadcast and it seems like yesterday but it was 14 years ago!
