Laughing Squid Paradise Lost Call For Volunteers

by Scott Beale on July 23, 2007 · 0 comments

Cyclecide Bike Rodeo

We are looking for people to help out with our big Laughing Squid Paradise Lost event this Saturday. Our old friend Rick Abruzzo is our esteemed volunteer coordinator. All volunteers would have free admission to the event of course and we would give them a free Laughing Squid t-shirt. I’m sure could work in a couple of drink tickets as well.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email us: volunteer@laughingsquid.com.

Here’s where we need help:

Door

Lori Dorn is running the door and could use some help. We will have both a front and back entrance.

Setup & Cleanup

We could use some people to help with both the setup and the cleanup of the event. We will be setting up from 12 noon on and the event is over at 12 midnight.

Security

We could use a few people to help with security, both within the event and outside on the surrounding streets.

Art & Installation Coordinator

We need someone to help with logistics and placement of the art and installations as they show up the day of the event.

Photos, Video & Live Streaming

We could use a couple of more dedicated people shooting photos and video. It would also be great to have some people show up and do lifecasting/live streaming (we can promote that on the blog before the event).

Runners

We could use a couple of people with vehicles as runners during the setup of the event. If you have a truck, that’s even better.

Stage & Sound

Noona our co-producer and stage manager could use some help with the stage. Chicken John is doing sound and may need some help in that area as well. I think we have enough stage and sound people now.
