Beard Type Chart

Jon Dyer is on a quest to grow every type of beard, which he has been documenting on his blog. Jon is quite the beard expert, maintaining a beard FAQ, a beard type chart and he even organizes MaBeGroMo (Macho Beard Growing Month) every December.

I think John Law has him beat. That guy can grow anything.

Over the last 20 years I’ve seen every one of those on John Law. Back in 1989 or 90, Ethyl Ketone or Lance found an antique beard card & gave it to him with the challenge of growing all of ‘em.

I’m sure Peter Field has photographic documentation…

John & Kevin, you guys are right, John Law could totally give this guy a run for his money in a beard growing competition. May the best beards win!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Have we learned nothing about East Coast / West Coast rivalry? There’s no need to drag John Law into this, is there? You don’t see me dragging in Neil Fallon. Can we just have some unity in the beard community? One nation, under beard, indivisible, with unity, and whiskers for all.

(Thanks for the link, man. I appreciate it.)
