Jake Appelbaum and Joel Johnson are now in New Orleans helping to setup radio and wi-fi communications (Jake had previously been documenting the situation at the Astrodome). They are currently operating out of the Algiers neighborhood and are being hosted by former Black Panther and housing activist Malik Rahim. Jake is shooting some amazing photos and chronicling his experiences there on his blog, much of which you will not see or read about in the mainstream media.
