“Revamped Graphic Equalizer” by Marcelo Costa is a great stop-motion animation of graphic equalizers made using real world objects and people.

Wow! Of all the excellent songs Monsieur Costa could’ve used, that’s a good ‘un — it’s called “Balkan Hot Step” by a band called N.O.H.A., Noise Of Human Art.

Here is a link to a Flickr Gallery of a VU Meter that we debuted at Maker Faire. We are just finishing up Phase 2, adding programmed behaviors and footswitching capabilities. We’ll be rolling out the new improved apparatus at Bottom of the Hill June 6th as an accompaniment to SF instrumental band Microfiche.
