Creative Commons Viral Video Fundraising Campaign With Revver

by Scott Beale on November 3, 2006 · 0 comments

Creative Commons has just launched their annual fundraising campaign using videos that are hosted on Revver, who in turn is donating 100% of the video ad revenue until the end of the year. Creative Commons has uploaded six videos that explain how Creative Commons works, including the “Wanna Work Together?” video (posted here), which was created by the one and only Ryan Junell.

We’re launching a brand new fundraising model and becoming the first-ever nonprofit organization to raise money through online video sharing. We’ve uploaded our short explanatory videos to Revver, a video-sharing platform that uses Creative Commons licenses to help creators make money from their work.
