blink(1), A Hackable USB LED Indicator Light

blink(1) LED indicator light by ThingM

blink(1) is a hackable LED indicator light that plugs into any USB port. The light serves as a visual status update for any event that occurs on a computer or the Internet—new emails, weather conditions, Twitter notifications, computer system alerts, etc. Most common usages of blink(1) require no programming knowledge, however the light is open source so programmers and hackers can modify it as much as their imaginations allow. blink(1) is being developed by ThingM in Los Angeles. ThingM is raising funds for the project on Kickstarter.
