Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco 2008 & Web2Open
Web 2.0 Expo returns to San Francisco next week, April 22nd-25th at Moscone West. The organizers of the conference are offering Laughing Squid readers a $100 discount or a free expo pass, just use code “websf08bl12” when you register.
The second Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco takes the pulse of the Web ecosystem and looks to its future, training a spotlight across the Web 2.0 universe to illuminate how the Internet Revolution is being created and delivered. Web 2.0 Expo is for the builders of the next generation web: designers, developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, business strategists, and venture capitalists, people who have experiences to share and a passion for learning–the hot new thing, lessons from failures, innovations and inspirations, and the practical applications of all of the above. What will you do with the power of Web 2.0?
The Web2Open unconference will also be back this year on April 23rd and 24th, which is free to attend with an expo pass.
Web2Open is a free event where you can connect with other participants over your Web 2.0 successes, challenges and questions. As an unconference, the Open lets attendees determine most of the sessions, and it emphasizes participation over presentations. This year, the Open also features a handful of pre-scheduled discussion sessions seeded with people who are passionate about the topics. The Open is a great way to network with other attendees, learn more about elements of Web 2.0, and share your experience!
And of course would a conference be without all of the parties. Juhani has done all of the hard work for you and assembled a really great Web 2.0 Expo Party List.
Also, SCHED is back with a special version for Web 2.0 Expo.
See you next week!
