‘Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed’, A New Podcast That Picks Up Where Popular Crime Podcast ‘Serial’ Left Off
Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed is a new podcast that intends to pick up on the story of Adnan Syed where the popular crime podcast Serial (previously) left off. Syed was convicted of killing his high school girlfriend Hae Min Lee, and although Serial raised questions about Syed’s guilt or innocence, the podcast left many listeners wanting a clearer conclusion.
Undisclosed is produced by Rabia Chaudry, an attorney advocating for Syed, and two of her colleagues, Susan Simpson and Colin Miller. The new podcast promises to take, “an investigatory perspective instead of a narrative one,” and will look at new evidence and information about the case that’s been made available since the end of the first season of Serial.
The first episode of Undisclosed is scheduled to premiere on April 13, 2015.
