The trailer for the highly-awaited final season of the post-Edwardian period series Downton Abbey promises a great deal of change within the household. The trailer hints at upcoming marriages, the admission of secrets, the resolution of problems and the mystery of a stranger, as shown in the first scene of episode one. The final season premieres in the United States January 3 at 9:00 PM through PBS Masterpiece.
