The Original Star Trek Theme Performed on a Theremin

Hungarian violin and theremin player Katica Illényi performed a wonderful cover of the original Star Trek theme on a theremin in 2018 during the Jubilee Concert at the Budapest Congress Center.

There’s a common misconception that the Star Trek theme used a theremin, but it was actually performed by celebrated coloratura soprano Loulie Jean Norman.
