Rubik’s cube world champion Feliks Zemdegs has set a new world record by solving a standard 3x3x3 Rubik’s cube in just 4.737 seconds at a competition where he was seated next to previous world record holder Mats Valk. Zemdegs set the record using a prototype version of a magnetized GAN 356 Air cube.
Although Zemdegs set the world record, he still lost to Valk in the competition which was decided by best average time.
