Roku Announces the New Roku 4 Streaming Video Player With 4K Resolution and New Discovery Features

Roku has announced their latest streaming video player, the Roku 4, with 4K resolution and new discovery features. Users can now search across channels to see where a specific show, movie, or video is available. The new version of the Roku also features a lost remote finder button on the streaming box that triggers a sound to play on the remote.

The Roku 4 operates on Roku OS 7, which was also announced today. Roku OS 7 features a new Hotel and Dorm Connect feature which allows users who are traveling to stream their media while connected to a network that requires login credentials, as well as updated apps for mobile devices.
