Reality Editor, An App for Easily Programming Smart Devices to Interact With Each Other in Wide Variety of Ways

Reality Editor is a new app designed by Valentin Heun at MIT to easily program smart devices to interact with each other in a wide variety of ways. For example, the app could be used to connect the lights in a person’s office to their desk chair, so when they stand up to leave the lights will turn off. The same function can also include other steps, like pre-starting the user’s car and adjusting the climate control settings.

The video demonstrating the Reality Editor was created using a working version of the app that were recorded live without any added visual effects.
