Rancho Obi-Wan Awarded Guinness World Record for Largest Collection of ‘Star Wars’ Memorabilia
Rancho Obi-Wan, a non-profit museum in California run by Steve Sansweet, has been awarded the Guinness World Record for having the world’s largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia. Rancho Obi-Wan contains an estimated 300,000 unique Star Wars items ranging from props and costumes to action figures, video games, and pinball machines. Though only 90,546 items have been cataloged as of May 2013, that number beats the previous world record by a factor of three, according to Guinness World Records.
