The official theatrical trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road (previously) features a post-apocalyptic world full of violence and explosions. The film stars Tom Hardy as the title character, and Charlize Theron as the Imperator, Furiosa. Mad Max: Fury Road was directed by George Miller and is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 15, 2015.
Fans were given an early look at footage from the film and the posters in July 2014 during San Diego Comic-Con.
