New ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Trailer Shows the Humans and Apes Preparing for War

“Apes. Together. Strong.”

20th Century FOX has released a new teaser trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, an upcoming sci-fi film sequel directed by Matt Reeves.The trailer shows both the humans and the apes preparing for all out war. Peace does not seem to be an option. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to release on July 11th, 2014.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
