Memories of Paintings, A Lush Composition of Moving Color That Evokes a Sense of Melancholy
In a beautifully abstract video “Memories of Paintings“, director Thomas Blanchard used a combination of paint, oil, milk and liquid soap to create a lush composition of moving color and texture, as if the colors of a painting were being washed away and evoking a quiet sense of melancholy.
Memories of Paintings” is an experimental dreamlike video rocking us smoothly through circular moves. The visual compositions have been created out of paint, oil, milk and soap liquid.
