London Developer Creating a Transparent Free-Floating ‘Sky Pool’ 35 Meters in the Air
London developer Ballymore has received planning approval to build a transparent free-floating “sky pool” 35 meter above the city’s Nine Elms district as part of its new Embassy Gardens development.
The pool will be built with clear 20cm-thick glass, giving swimmers a view straight down to the world below. Residents of the Embassy Gardens will be able to swim across from one building to another, and take advantage of a deck on either side with a spa and bar.
