Hacker Samy Kamkar Recounts the Time He Took Down Myspace in 2005
In the pilot for the new Motherboard video series Greatest Moments in Hacking History, Samy Kamkar recounted the time he took down Myspace in 2005 when he discovered a vulnerability that allowed him add code to his profile that quickly replicated itself across the site.
The pilot is one of five that Motherboard is considering bringing to series. They are releasing each one on their one but have also created one video containing all the pilots, and they are asking viewers for feedback about the shows.
