Google Releases a New Bookmark Manager for Chrome Featuring Improved Saving, Better Search, and Folder Sharing
Google has released a new bookmark manager for the Chrome web browser that features improved saving, better search, folder sharing, and more. The new features require users to sign in to Chrome and enable syncing, but doing so provides the ability to one-click save with an image and note for better bookmark management. Searching now also parses a page’s contents in addition to its title, and any given folder of bookmarks can be made public for sharing similar to a YouTube playlist.
Leaked earlier this year, the new bookmark manager has previously gone by the name of “Stars,” though it doesn’t appear to be officially labeled as such.
Chrome Bookmarks and the Bookmarks Manager are now more powerful by incorporating the smarts of Google Search with a new modern UI.
