Eric Stoltz Was The Original Marty McFly In Back to the Future
It turns out that Eric Stoltz originally played Marty McFly in the 1985 film Back to the Future, but he wasn’t funny enough, so director Robert Zemeckis decided to replace him with Michael J. Fox. Footage of Eric Stoltz’s performance will be included on the “Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy” DVD that will be released October 26th.
