Doctor Who Lands in NYC to Save the City From a Deadly Alien Threat in the 2016 Christmas Special

In “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” (The colloquial name for Doctor Who in Spanish-speaking countries), the beloved Time Lord and his TARDIS travel across the pond to save New York City from the threat of deadly aliens who wish to cause them harm. The Doctor is assisted by an eager investigative journalist (Charity Wakefield) and a caped-crusading superhero (Justin Chatwin). In anticipation of the holiday episode, the BBC released a behind-the-scenes teaser.

This Christmas, the Doctor teams up with a comic-book superhero in New York for a heroic special titled, The Return of Doctor Mysterio. We also have a brand new image and a behind-the-scenes trailer to share.
