Dinosaur Alphabet by Harry S. Robins

Dinosaur Alphabet

“Dinosaur Alphabet” is the latest book by my good friend Harry S. Robins aka Hal Robins, celebrated performer, artist, SubGenii and centerpiece of the weekly Ask Dr. Hal Show.

Published by Frog, Ltd., it’s an 80 page children’s book that is filled with wonderful color illustrations of dinosaurs, one for each letter of the alphabet.

Renowned muralist and illustrator Harry Robins captures the world of dinosaurs with vivid, four-color artwork and charming verses structured around the 26 letters of the alphabet. Each of the quatrains (one for each letter of the alphabet) accompanies a detailed illustration portraying a different dinosaur, and starts with an ornamental capital letter incorporating another depiction of the creature. Both informative and playful, the book takes readers young and old from A for Allosaurus to Z for Zuniceratops. Robins works from the latest scientific information about the dinosaurs shown, and an engaging “Notes” section provides background on each of the verses.

Speaking of Hal Robins, he was recently a guest on the RU Sirius Show, where one of the things he talked about was Dinosaur Alphabet.

If you like Dinosaur Alphabet, make sure to get a copy of Hal previous book “The Meaning of Lost and Mismatched Socks”.
