Concept Art From the Circle 7 Animation Version of ‘Toy Story 3’
Prior to Disney‘s acquisition of Pixar in 2006, the status of the inevitable sequel to Toy Story 2 was up in the air. In preparation of a new movie being made without Pixar, Disney moved forward with a new in-house division—Circle 7 Animation–producing what would eventually become Toy Story 3. Artist Jim Martin provided a series of concept art for this version, which was eventually scrapped in favor of Pixar working on their own version of the film.
