Chanel’s Oversized Hula Hoop Bag

For the Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 collection, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld created an oversized quilted bag that uses two hula hoops as handles. According to The Telegraph‘s Fashion section, Lagerfeld created it for the beach. He says in this video interview, “You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it…Clean, light, airy, fresh…”
