Artifacts From Burning Man 1990
Danger Ranger has been unearthing some amazing artifacts from Burning Man 1990, the first year the event was in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. It moved there after being shut down on Baker Beach in San Francisco.
Here’s a post card announcing the first Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert. They asked for a $15 suggested contribution to help cover the event’s operational costs.
Here’s the orginal Zone Trip #4 Survival Guide. The San Francisco Cacophony Society joined forces with Burning Man in 1990 to bring it to the playa for the first time as Cacophony Society Zone Trip #4.
