An Interactive Real-Time Map of Online Malware Threats

Computer security company Kaspersky Lab has released a fascinating interactive real-time map of online malware threats. The globe can be manipulated by a user’s mouse, and each color represents a different kind of threat. The lower-left button describes the kind of threat, and each kind can in turn be hidden or made visible to see specific kinds of threats only. In addition, clicking on a country produces a report on the number of threats detected there since 12:00AM GMT. The data presented on the map is gathered from the Kaspersky Security Network.
