A Pizza Hut Box That Turns a Smartphone Into a Projector With an Included Lens and Stand

Pizza Hut Hong Kong partnered with advertising firm Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong to create a pizza box that turns a smartphone into a projector by using an included lens and stand. Customers simply punch out a perforated hole in the side of the box, insert the lens, and scan the box with their smartphone to load a special pizza-themed movie.

The box was used as a promotional item in several Hong Kong locations in April 2015, and that test was so successful the company plans to roll out the boxes in more locations in the future.
