The New York Observer has just launched Betabeat, featuring news, gossip and intel from the New York tech scene.

Under the editorial leadership of Observer Media Group Editor-in-Chief Elizabeth Spiers, BETABEAT.com, will highlight the latest ventures, startups and investments in the tech community, profiling the dynamic personalities who rule the City’s tech scene, offering social scorecards ranking the top players, as well as analyzing trends and hot new products.

One of my favorite things about Betabeat is that they section called “Ask Josh Harris”, where Josh Harris, subject of the documentary We Live In Public gives advice to tech startups.
