Model of San Francisco Made Using 100,000 Toothpicks
Rohnert Park artist Scott Weaver has built a 9′ tall model of San Francisco using 100,000 toothpicks. The installation “Rolling Through the Bay” took 35 years to create and features a ball that rolls through the toothpick sculpture, touring famous San Francisco locations. It made its debut on Tuesday at the Sonoma County Fair winning “Best of Show”.
