Glow in the Dark Smart Highway Opens in the Netherlands
Back in 2013 we posted about the Smart Highway, an experimental Dutch roadway that features luminous road markings. A 1600-foot stretch of the Smart Highway has since opened, and as this video shows, the markings do indeed glow in the dark. The Smart Highway is a collaborative project by Studio Roosegaarde and Heijmans Infrastructure.
