O’Reilly Media and O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures (OATV) recently opened up their beautiful new office in San Francisco. Last night they had an open house, which featured many of Nemo Gould’s fantastic sculptures on display, some of which are part of their permanent collection. Here’s my gallery of photos from the open house.

OATV co-founder Bryce Roberts gave me a tour of his office, which is full of great art as well. I thought I was going to a tech/VC party and ended up at an art opening.

At the party I ran into my friends Justin Hall and Merci Hammon, who just moved to the Bay Area from LA to work on their startup GameLayers, which is being funded by O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. At GameLayers they are currently developing PMOG, a browser-based Passively Multiplayer Online Game.
