Migaloo, The All-White Humpback Whale
Migaloo is an all-white (presumably albino) humpback whale who frequents the waters off the east coast of Australia. When he was first spotted in 1991, he was the world’s only known all-white humpback whale. In 2011 a white humpback calf was spotted off Australia—researchers are now trying to determine whether the younger whale is Migaloo’s offspring.
